Training Description:

Each class will last two days and cover all aspects of system installation, programming, system design, signal survey techniques, and maintenance of the CWSI line of products.

Day 1
Consists of classroom presentations, site survey demonstration and hands-on programming of the equipment at individual student workstations.
Day 2
Training continues with hands-on activities, covering site surveys, programming, troubleshooting, hands-on assessment, and course evaluation.

Important: To achieve Factory Certification, students must receive a passing score on assessment(s).

Registering for Training:

CLICK HERE to configure an account on our Learning Management System (LMS). With this account established, you will be automatically logged into the system. Subsequent logins to the LMS are done by

and using your Username and Password. By registering an account on the LMS you will be assigned the CWSI Technician Training Curriculum. This curriculum is located in your "My Training" window on the LMS Welcome page. After meeting the curriculum prerequisites, you can select a classroom training session to enroll in.

Billing:

After an employee completes classroom training an invoice will be forwarded.
There will also be an invoice generated per our training cancellation policy.

Class Hours and Training Guidelines:

Classes run two consecutive weekdays, typically Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday.

Day 1: 8:00am-5:00pm / Day 2: 8:00am-5:00pm
(Check-in by 7:45am in main lobby)

In Florida, breakfast is available for purchase at the onsite cafeteria, lunch vouchers are provided. A catered lunch is provided in California. Complimentary coffee and water are available in both locations. Attire is business casual. Jeans and a company shirt are fine; no shorts allowed.

The use of tobacco or smokeless tobacco products is prohibited in or around the building. We will provide a designated area for smoking. Breaks are scheduled as needed. A guest Wi-Fi network is available.

Laptop Requirements for Training:

A laptop running Windows 7, 8, or 10 is required to load CWSI software. Two functional USB ports are also required.

Important:

  • Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Mac are not supported.
  • Please confirm in advance the ability to load software on the laptop brought to training.
  • Administrator permissions may be required for this confirmation.

Materials Provided by CWSI:

USB flash drive containing:

  • All UL-Listed product manuals.
  • Software for programming and system restoration.
  • All other course materials, presentations, etc.
  • A certificate is provided upon successful completion.

Demo Kits:

New CWSI Distributors must order a demo kit available for purchase tfppcustomerservice@tycoint.com under Part Number CWSI-DEMO-KIT (please use the CWSI order form). These kits include everything required to
perform a demonstration of the CWSI Fire Alarm System as well as the tools and equipment required to perform a customer site survey.

Survey Kits
